No more than four (4) Competitors in the Sound-Off Ring at a time. Each Competitor will have Two (2) 60-seconds Rounds to play their Motorcycle Sound System. The Winner(s) of the round will stay in the Sound-Off Ring as they advance. This will continue until the final three Winners are selected. The Judges will evaluate five (5) Criterias for each Bike:
-
Vocals: Competitors must play at least One (1) 30 seconds, throughout either round, Song(s) / Track(s) that contain Vocals to meet the criteria.
-
Frequencies Balance: The sound system will be judged on the overall harmony of all High, Midrange, Midbass, and Low frequencies.

-
Sound Quality: Free of Distortion & Sound Projection.
-
Bike Rattles. Judges will determine how well the Competitor prepared his/her Bike for competition.
Sound-Off Considerations and Competitive Suggestions.
Audio Clipping: It is the interruption of sound and or signal due to lack of power and or the amplifiers’ to attempt to produce an output voltage beyond its capability(ies).
• Only ONE (1) event of Clipping will be allowed throughout the entire competition. A second event of Clipping is an automatic disqualification from the event.
Equipment Malfunction.
• Competitors with an Equipment Malfunction, such as, head unit not reading the source of music, lack of Wifi and or Download capabilities, the need to reboot the equipment, etc., will be moved to the last Participant of the Round. If the Competitor is the last Participant of the Round, he/she will be allowed no more than two (2) minutes to correct their Equipment Malfunction.
• Participants will only be allowed to correct One (1) Equipment Malfunction throughout the entire competition. A second Equipment Malfunction is an automatic disqualification.
Song/Track Selection
Song/Track selection is subjective. Therefore, it is NOT up to the Judges to determine if the Song/Track selected by the Competitors is one that, or does not, compliment every aspect of his or her sound stage. Judges will only evaluate the above-mentioned Criterias. Although, Competitors should select a song, and the best quality version of the song, which allows every aspect of their system to perform well.
